http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/ NGS, data, National Spatial Reference System (NSRS) - "a consistent national coordinate system that specifies latitude, longitude, height, scale, gravity, and orientation throughout the Nation, as well as how these values change with time."
NGS DSDATA. "DSDATA is the traditional format of NGS data sheets. It is the format found on NGS paper products, tapes, diskettes, and CD-ROMs. Information in this format can be manipulated by the NGS programs DSX, DSSELECT, etc." An example can be found on http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/INFO/Data/ds_sample.txt
http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS/ CORS - Continuously Operating Reference Stations - "Surveyors, GIS/LIS professionals, engineers, scientists, and others can apply CORS data to position points at which GPS data have been collected. The CORS system enables positioning accuracies that approach a few centimeters relative to the National Spatial Reference System, both horizontally and vertically."
