Figure 2-4: Cardinality and Association Symbols Used in the Standard

Additional cardinality and association symbols used in the Standard are shown below in Figure 2-4 from the Cadastral Data Content Standard. Remember that:

a vertical line by itself means an association of "single" or "one"
a vertical line next to the association symbol means "mandatory"
the circle indicates "optional"
and the crowsfoot indicates "many"
